Having lost a lot of weight my engagement ring was far too big and I have been very worried that it would fall off my finger. We have no longer have any working jewellers in my area so I had to look father afield and after trawling through different sites on the internet I kept on returning to D&L. This morning I took the plunge and phoned Darren and he invited us to come to see him. What a lovely guy, so helpful and it was so reassuring to be able to see the person who would be working on my ring.
Darren inspected the ring and measured my finger which was what I expected but what I didn’t expect was that he also asked if he could check over my eternity ring. What a good job he did! He showed us that one of the diamonds was loose and in danger of coming out of its setting.
Just over an hour later he had resized my engagement ring, resecured the loose diamond in my eternity ring and given both rings a good clean and polish. I am so happy that I found Darren and I would not hesitate to use him again and will certainly be recommending him to all my friends and family.
Add, Darren … having got lost on the way to you we also got lost on the way home but John was so happy with your superb professionalism and attention to detail he never made a single complaint about how long the return journey took us. Sat at home now with a cup of tea and a smile on my face as I admire your workmanship. Thank you.
